  • Beskrivelse: Sailor Stelios Razis embarks on an oil tanker in order to provide for his wife Sofia and son Aris. All traces of him disappear when he gets off the ship at the port of Beirut to send his family money. Sofia is forced to find work at a factory, and Aris sells cigarettes to customers outside Mr. Vasilis’ nightclub. Meanwhile, a conman ex- colleague of Stelios’s, Michalis Zarmanis, (who hates Stelios because the latter had reported his dirty business dealings to the police – which landed him in prison) begins moving in on Sofia. He convinces her that her husband has abandoned her for another woman and puts pressures on her to marry him in order to secure her son’s future. However, his plans fall through when Stelios returns, utterly changing the situation. Stelios had fallen victim to a mugging and for three years suffered from amnesia. The Razis family is reunited and looks optimistically to the future.
