  • Beschrijving: Stathis, a young man on the margins of society, agrees to murder a Bulgarian diplomat. At the last moment he hesitates and misses on purpose. The contract killing had been ordered by Leo, a close friend of Stathis and a top member of a criminal organisation. The leader of the organisation orders Stathis to be killed, but Leo warns him so he can escape. Stathis finds shelter on the farm of an uncle, asking him for help crossing the border. At the farm he meets Ifigeneia, a young teacher who lost her husband in a traffic accident and who has severed ties with her mother. Stathis and Ifigeneia fall for each other, but their lives are in danger both from Leo, who cannot cover for Stathis anymore, and from another gang member named Sakis. In order to save his uncle and Ifigenia, Stathis kills both Leo and Sakis and then flees.
