  • Beschreibung: There have been engine-driven ambulances in Stockholm since the early 1910s, but long into the 1920s horse-drawn carriages were more commonly used to transport patients who were lying down. Here, a preview of a ‘medical car’, designed by Captain Wasell and based on a Dodge, for the Red Cross board of directors, led by Prince Carl. This silent film is shown with musical accompaniment by Matti Bye.
