  • Jaar: 1964
  • Beschrijving: Petros, the son of the industrialist Tsamis, is in love with factory worker Martha, but their wedding is cancelled because of the strong opposition and scheming of his father. Martha’s mother dies; and Martha falls seriously ill and is admitted to a sanatorium, while Petros marries Vana, the rich bride that his father always wanted him to have. The doctor treating Martha, Dimitris, falls in love with her, but steps down in favor of her beloved Petros, who, in the meantime, has divorced his rich and superficial wife to marry Martha. His father gradually relents and regrets his earlier attitude.
