  • Beschrijving: During World War II in occupied Greece, a doctor (Vasilis Mitsakis) takes care of a wounded Austrian officer (Christos Politis), whose detail was wiped out in a surprise attack by the resistance fighters. The local people bury the dead Germans, but their commander (Dimitris Bislanis) is determined to arrest the partisans. Failing to extract information from the people, he prepares to burn down the village and massacre women and children. In the face of this threat, the people unite to fight back –and, among them, the doctor’s daughter (Katia Dandoulaki) and the Austrian officer.
