Description: Reportage about the commotion at the Eijsden train station after the arrival of Emperor Wilhelm II This film must have been made on November 10, 1918, the day that the German Emperor Wilhelm II came to the Netherlands after he was deposed by the army. The footage was shot some distance from the all the commotion that the Emperor's arrival caused at Eijsden's train station. Pending official approval to let Wilhelm cross the German-Dutch border, several officers walk along the platform of the station. A steam train pulls into the station, presumably to pick up the Emperor. On November 11, Germany would sign the armistice that ushered in the end of the First World War.
