  • Aprašymas: "Asylrecht" was made in 1948/49 as a commissioned work for the British occupation forces. It was shown in Great Britain under the title Report on the Refugee Situation, January 1949. In Germany, where the film was first shown in February 1949 at an ecumenical refugee conference in Hamburg, it was titled Asylrecht. The film shows legal and illegal border crossings from the Soviet Occupation Zone to the British Zone in 1948, emergency shelters and camps, as well as the administration's handling of the problem, residence examinations, criteria for a right to stay, and repatriations.
